>> More September Issue Dish: A New LOVE Preview and a Whole Muse Devoted to Natasha Poly —LOVE just released a new preview featuring 13-year-old blogger Tavi of Style Rookie in addition to the first one from earlier this week. Add Twilight's Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift, and the Willis Sisters — who were photographed back in May — to the list of "New Blood" featured; so far, the only fashion kids listed are Alexander Wang and Allegra Versace. Meanwhile, it the spirit of the recent influx of model-dedicated issues, Muse is devoting their entire Fall/Winter 2009 issue to Natasha Poly: among the contributors are Richard Phillips, and if it coincides with a clue on The Imagist, Craig McDean and Terry Richardson, as well. Spring 2010 New York Fashion Week: Ralph Lauren Expands to Three Shows; Two Designers Dare to Overlap with Fashion's Night Out
>> New York Fashion Week is still over a month away, but Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week just released its official calendar today and the Fashion Calendar — which shows all of the shows not included in the Bryant Park festivities — has appeared online, so we can get an idea of what will be going down in that crazy time period between Sept. 9 and Sept. 17.

Despite the industry's economic doldrums, a few designers are adding an extra show for Spring 2010 — Ralph Lauren is upgrading from two showings to three in his usual morning-of-the-last-day spot; Phillip Lim is following in close friend Richard Chai's footsteps, doing a two separate shows this season, one for men's and one for women's, rather than combining them like he usually does; and Thom Browne, who chose to show his Fall 2009 collection in Florence instead of at New York Fashion Week, is back on the schedule with not one but two shows.
>> Kanye West Styles for October 2009 Elle —Avid fashion show attendee Kanye West continues to dip his hands into the industry: first it was designing Louis Vuitton kicks, which promptly sold out, then an internship at Gap — which prompted rumors of a line in the works with the retailer — and now, he's styled a shoot for Elle's October 2009 Personal Style issue, creative director Joe Zee confirmed. A preview of "Coco's" answers, below.
Harper's Bazaar: What's the new Chanel classic?
Karl Lagerfeld as Coco Chanel: As apparently my old jacket is still around, done by this idiot Karl, I have to help him find a new idea.
HB: What's on your iPod?
KL as CC: The Kills. They suit my character.

What's Going to Happen to Vogue, Now That McKinsey Is Around?
>> Conde Nast is expected to lose 5,000 ad pages as a whole this year, the New York Post reports, which translates to a loss of between $275 million and $350 million and a possible move into the red for the privately-held company. Since management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. was brought in at the end of last month for a three month job, all of the editorial floor's receptionists have been laid off and all newspaper subscriptions have been canceled; larger changes are still expected.
The era represented by The September Issue — showcasing the making of Vogue's largest issue ever, 840 pages worth, in 2007 — when Grace Coddington complains, on camera, that Anna Wintour threw out "$50,000 worth of work" because it wasn't up to par, may be a thing of the past. Especially when, by comparison, the page count for the September 2009 issue is only up to 427 so far — although those are just the ads (in Sept. 2007, the magazine had 727 ad pages).
>> Karlie Kloss Snags Alexander McQueen Fall 2009 Campaign, Celebrates 17th Birthday at Disneyland —A preview of Karlie Kloss's impending Fall 2009 Alexander McQueen campaign, styled by Karl Templer, is up on the designer's website; the model celebrated her 17th birthday over the weekend by taking her family, agents, and friends to Disney World; Vogue UK has pictures.
