>> It's that time of year: When designers take to their yachts and famous faces join them. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been tooling around in their boat for the past week or so, first with Eva Mendes and then with Jennifer Lopez, before joining Naomi Campbell and her boyfriend Vladislav Doronin in Capri for a little karaoke over the weekend. The holiday hasn't been all fun for Naomi, though: a photographer claimed she slapped him and hit him with her handbag in Sicily; her rep denies anything happened.
And over in Saint-Tropez today, Kate Moss and her boyfriend Jamie Hince took to a yacht called "Serenity" with Karen Mulder — who hopefully got her arrest resolved — and Stefano Pilati, who has a summer place in the area. They lunched at Club 55 and then took to a little impromptu photo session (NSFW) and topless sunbathing; this isn't the first time Kate has vacationed with a designer — last year it was Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone.

>> Vogue Australia Erases Abbey Lee Kershaw, Catherine McNeil's Nipple Piercings —While British lawmakers are considering banning airbrushing, Vogue Australia made quick use of Photoshop within its 50th anniversary September 2009 issue. Greg Kadel photographed Abbey Lee Kershaw and Catherine McNeil topless for an editorial entitled "Come As You Are," capturing the models with their nipple piercings in plain view, but in the magazine, the jewelry has been erased — Frockwriter has photo evidence. Funnily enough, however, they kept Abbey Lee's piercing untouched in a less close up shot. [Frockwriter (NSFW)]

>> There have been plenty of rumors surrounding Kate Moss's involvement with Sir Philip Green and Simon Cowell's new entertainment venture — the first batch of which Moss's agency Storm and Green wouldn't comment on, but an industry source close to Cowell and Green denied.
Last week, the Mirror reported that Kate has signed up to be on Cowell's new battle-of-the-bands-type TV show which gives a unsigned group a chance at fame; the show is supposedly going to be launched in the US with a British spinoff later. Now, People has picked up on the story — which is still unconfirmed — and says that Kate may be either a judge on the show or perhaps a host in the style of Ryan Seacrest.
The deal in the works — which is estimated to be worth $80 million — would allow Kate to be involved in developing and merchandising the program; she could also appear on Cowell's other shows like American Idol and Britain's Got Talent.

>> Cavalli Loses Minority Stake Deal; Prada Postpones Loan Payment —After three years of speculation, Roberto Cavalli almost had us convinced that he was ready to sell a minority stake in his company. The deal he was working on with Clessidra — which was expected to be finalized by the end of September — fell through over the weekend after the private equity firm disagreed with Cavalli over the value of his business. Meanwhile at Prada, Miuccia and Patrizio Bertelli now have until 2012 to pay off $450 million after lenders agreed to an extension, a move that alleviates any pressure to sell a stake in Prada over their desired, but so far elusive, initial public offering. >> There's a four-floor, 2,957 square foot house in East London up for sale that The Real Estalker reports is Alexander McQueen's. The interior, which is surprisingly minimalist when compared to McQueen's fashion aesthetic, was supposedly done by architect David Adjaye (who has been confirmed to have worked with McQueen), and the listing price is £1,700,000 (approx. $2.87m). The house is situated right on the edge of Victoria Park and has a private garden in the back.
