More than a few pairs of braided sandals have caught our eye this summer, leading us to form the hypothesis that it's become a full-on trend. Turns out this detail has adorned the everything headbands to handbags this summer, even if, because of it's relative size, it's gone unnoticed. Braiding is on the more affordable side of the 'details' spectrum (it's not diamond, it's just a little bit more fabric) and it adds a greek-goddess-meets-Punky -Brewster vibe to everything it touches (a combination we are totally comfortable with). From those red Balenciaga sandals that originally started us on the braid kick, to the Juicy Couture (yes, we said it) braided bracelet that we've fallen in love with, we're think braids are something that can do no wrong this season.
