>> We all have our guilty pleasures. Me? I like to splice my hard-core reading with a little "My Life At Not Vogue." Think The Devil Wears Prada, but better. And juicier. Eva posts each chapter on her blog -- I would suggest starting at Chapter 1 and working your way through Chapter 7, which she just posted recently. Go ahead, feed that sweet tooth... err... brain.

>> I just don't get it. One of Gwen Stefani's major inspirations for her S/S 2007 collection was Michelle Pfeiffer's character Elvira Hancock from Scarface. The coolest thing Elvira wears in that movie by far are her sunglasses. The color of the sunglasses is good, sure, but oh, the shape. I would die for a pair of sunglasses in that rounded, cat-eyed kind of shape. But no, Gwen had to stick with the tacky gold-rimmed aviators instead. So close, and yet so far away. And now I'm stuck lusting after a pair of sunnies that existed before I was born.
>> You know, I am always against the gratuitous display of logos, but there is one brand I can always make an exception for -- Chanel. Don't ask me why, don't ask me how, that's just the way it is. Somehow the double-Cs of Chanel look so elegant, but Gucci's double-Gs, just a few small lines apart from the double-Cs, don't have the same effect at all. Maybe I've been brand conditioned. Chanel. Elegant. Chanel = elegance. But you know what, I think I'm okay with that. Besides, wouldn't Gabrielle herself be proud that Chanel is still synonymous with elegance, after all these years?
Let your eyes gorge themselves on the curvy, the wonderful, the double-Cs.
