buzz buzz goes the bee August 9, 2006 2:26 pm >> I was skeptical at first. Usually Bee Shaffer's columns are so ho-hum, and this one was about internships, so I was expecting it to be a rehash of the New York Times article on interns from about a week ago. But no, Bee went and got all scandalous on us. Maybe she was inspired by the recent publication of Fashion Babylon, which sounds sinfully scandalous, but I don't know, because I'm still waiting for my copy to get here, Mr. Ebay Seller.
In any case, Bee pulls the cover off that highly-publicized internship Mary-Kate Olsen had a few years back with Annie Liebowitz:I happen to know one of Mary-Kate's fellow interns and he informed me that she didn't know what a negative was, and that when she attended a Sarah Jessica Parker shoot, she only stayed for an hour and all she did was sit and smoke Marlboro Reds.
