cut off the skinny shorts
>> Seriously, blow them off. Don't have anything to do with them. I don't care if they were on the Chanel runway for spring (right), they're ugly. I don't care if you can get them for a decent price at Urban Outfitters, they're not flattering.
Oh boy do I feel a bad spring trend coming on -- I feel like I'm starting to see these skinny cutoffs everywhere in stores. All I can do is hope that this trend won't be of white prairie skirt caliber.
cinderella, forget the glass slippers
>> Have I got a shoe for your tiny little feet (size 6.5, to be exact) -- the most copied shoe from the sixties, the very shoes that Mme Deneuve wears in Belle de Jour... Roger Vivier's gorgeous patent leather pilgrim pumps. And they're on ebay. Ever since I saw the pilgrim-inspired shoes in Melodie Wolf's Fall/Winter 2006 collection, it's been a minor obsession of mine. But these are the original -- and you can't get much better than that.

come on, vogue
>> When Madonna said strike a pose, I don't think this cover is what she had in mind -- US Vogue really needs to get their act together. They have really started off the year with a bang -- and not in a good way. January brought us a sick-looking Sienna, and February brings us...yawn...Drew. After her poor excuse for a dress at the Golden Globes last night, I can't say that Miss Barrymore deserves to be on the cover of Vogue anyway, Missoni ads or not.
The rest of the editorial is here, but as Madonna says: "What're you looking at?" There's really nothing to be seen...
god save the queen
>> If I could prance and pout around in this outfit all day, by golly I would. Love the new Comme des Garcons. But for now, this girl is doing a pretty good job for me.

dressing up a tee...or dressing down a strapless...
>> Either way you look at it, I love this way of pairing the two together. (They did it at the Luella for Target show as well.) Can't wait to try it out this spring...

head over heels
>> Rejoice if you are a size 6.5 or 8, because the coolest shoes ever -- the Dali-inspired YSL Toe heels have popped up on ebay. Happy bidding!
go luella
>> Elle has given us a lovely preview of the Luella for Target line. Feast your eyes, ladies. The green and blue plaid strapless dress is mine.
