Alice Dellal Saddles Up For This Season's Chanel Boy Bag Campaign

Alice Dellal reprises her role as the face of Chanel's Boy Bag with a brand-new campaign for Spring 2013.

Alice Dellal reprises her role as the face of Chanel's Boy Bag with a brand-new campaign for Spring 2013. Posing with a white horse and a hot horse handler (model Jake White), Dellal plays the part of modern equestrienne perfectly, her trademark shaved hair and punk-rock vibe contrasting with her preppy cardigan-and-tie-blouse ensemble nicely. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld at La Ferme de la Chapelle in Fontaine-Chaalis, the images also call to mind the famous photos of Coco Chanel riding horses with Boy Capel. All the campaign images — plus a look at all the newest Boy Bags — here.

Proenza Schouler Celebrates New Site With Tech-Tastic Campaign Video

The Proenza Schouler boys may design their line from a farm house in upstate New York, but they're no Luddites.

The Proenza Schouler boys may design their line from a farm house in upstate New York, but they're no Luddites. Their Spring 2013 collection, for example, was inspired by the constant barrage of imagery in the digital age, and who could forget last season's trippy, video-game-tinged Desert Tide flick?

Now the duo has unveiled two more tech-tastic endeavors: a freshly revamped, interactive website and a hot-off-the-presses campaign video featuring the multimedia stylings of digital artist Eddie the Wheel. Directed by David Sims with a soundtrack by Grass Giraffes, the video stars models Julia Nobis and Irina Nikolaeva — and lots of far-out cyber collage. Feast your eyes on it right here.

Hey, It Girls: All the Images From Kate Young's Campaign For Target

To advertise her upcoming collaboration of formal dresses and cocktail attire with Target, stylist Kate Young selected a group of notables to be photographed by Terry Richardson.

To advertise her upcoming collaboration of formal dresses and cocktail attire with Target, stylist Kate Young selected a group of notables to be photographed by Terry Richardson.

The resulting campaign features Leigh Lezark of The Misshapes, model Hailey Gates, actress Nathalie Love, and model Lily Kwong. Richardson shot each of them in front of a step-and-repeat emblazoned with the Kate Young For Target Logo, casting them as It Girls arriving at a red carpet event.

Young's capsule will be in Target stores across the country starting April 14, and follows the successful Prabal Gurung collection for the retailer. Pricing information isn't available yet, but here's a first look at the campaign.

Maiyet dispatched Daria Werbowy and photographer Cass Bird to India for its Spring 2013 campaign — the fourth season in a row that Werbowy has posed for the brand.

Once in India — where Maiyet sources some of its artisanal wares — Bird photographed the model sailing along the Ganges River, dancing in Jaipur's Amber Fort, and biking through the backstreets of Varanasi.

The clothes in the ads will be available for purchase on Maiyet's website starting on Wednesday. Get a look at the pieces here in the gallery.

Don't Mess With the Women of Prada's Spring 2013 Video

Turns out those flowers in Prada's Spring 2013 collection weren't just for decoration.

Turns out those flowers in Prada's Spring 2013 collection weren't just for decoration. The narrative of the brand's newest campaign video treats the blooms like beautiful, powerful women that shouldn't be messed with.

The short film, called Ten Women, stars a full bouquet of models including Eva Herzigova, Irene Hiemstra, Irina Kravchenko, Kirsten Owen, Maartje Verhoef, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Saskia de Brauw, Sung Hee Kim, and Vanessa Axente. Each of the women poses languidly for the camera while a voice-over describes attributes of some of the flowers. "Tiger lily," it says as Kravchenko stares directly into the camera. "Handle with care."

Steven Meisel directed the video, which is set to musician Moondog's "Stamping Ground." The song's militant drum line ads a quickening sense of purpose to a video that's feminist, unsettling, and beautiful to look at all at once.

Here's the Adorable Alber Elbaz Skype Video Everyone's Talking About

An actual maelstrom kept Alber Elbaz from participating in Lanvin's Spring 2013 campaign shoot, so he joined in on all the fun via Skype.

An actual maelstrom kept Alber Elbaz from participating in Lanvin's Spring 2013 campaign shoot, so he joined in on all the fun via Skype.

Hurricane Sandy and back-to-back fittings in Paris kept Elbaz from flying to New York when Steven Meisel shot the ads, according to WWD. So the creative director made a video call to oversee the proceedings that pops up in the middle of the campaign film. "It's almost like being in New York without flying," he says, later adding that "the perspective is just sick."

Sick indeed — Meisel created a dreamy landscape (with models including Karlie Kloss, Saskia de Brauw, and Daria Strokous) so beautiful that even Elbaz couldn't help but ooh and aah over the pictures. "It's divine," he says. "I feel I'm in a dream. I feel I'm in a cloud." A look at the beautiful cloud below.

Calvin Klein Makes Good Case For Watching the Super Bowl

If you hadn't planned on watching this Sunday's Super Bowl, Calvin Klein is making a compelling case for at least sitting through the first quarter.

If you hadn't planned on watching this Sunday's Super Bowl, Calvin Klein is making a compelling case for at least sitting through the first quarter.

That's when the company will debut its first-ever Super Bowl commercial, a 30-second spot that advertises the new Calvin Klein Concept underwear collection. The black and white ad, directed by Fabien Baron, features shots of model Matthew Terry stretching and flexing in a pair of miniscule black briefs. Between those shots are a few short clips of vague machinery. A press release said the visual pairing is supposed to invoke the "man vs. machine" idea inspired by the underwear's seamless construction. That Terry's abdominal region appears to have more horsepower in it than most modern sports cars, however, was not addressed.

Steven Klein's coordinating ad campaign, seen above, will appear in GQ, Esquire, and Men's Health, as well as on billboards around the world. Viewers will see the full commercial during Sunday's game, which will air on CBS at 6:30 p.m. A look at the teaser below.

Exclusive First Look: Balenciaga Men's Spring 2013 Campaign

French actor Jean-Baptiste Lafarge gets the early '90s treatment in Balenciaga's Spring 2013 campaign.

French actor Jean-Baptiste Lafarge gets the early '90s treatment in Balenciaga's Spring 2013 campaign. Photographed by Josh Olins and styled by Sarah Richardson, Lafarge glares warily at the camera while wearing the house's tropical floral print button-up and pleat-front pants, his hair slicked back in a mullet to match. The facing pages feature the silhouette of a palm frond juxtaposed by light filtering through blinds. It's a little stark, very moody, and also very Miami Vice. The campaign hits print publications this month and runs through July; until then, a first look at the images, right here.

Exclusive First Look: Arizona Muse Stars in Nina Ricci's Spring 2013 Campaign

Talk about romantic gestures.
Arizona Muse in Nina Ricci's Spring 2013 Ads | Pictures

Talk about romantic gestures. In Nina Ricci's Spring 2013 campaign, Arizona Muse is captured in a whirlwind of what appear to be flower petals.

Closer inspection reveals the petals in Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin's photos are actually small disks of pink paper fluttering to the ground. Art directed by stylist Alex White and Malin Ericson, the ads call to mind the swirl of flower petals that fell from the ceiling at Peter Copping's Spring 2013 show for the brand last September.

An exclusive first look at the campaign here in the gallery.

Odelay! Beck Now Moonlighting as Model For Saint Laurent

Well, we guess Beck's doing fine.
Beck Saint Laurent Spring 2013 Campaign

Well, we guess Beck's doing fine. In addition to releasing his latest project Song Reader — a collection of sheet music — last month, the award-winning 42-year-old musician was also featured in the Spring 2013 campaign for Saint Laurent. Beck sat for the photos, shot and styled by the house's creative director Hedi Slimane, in Los Angeles last October.

Beck is the second musician Slimane has shot for Saint Laurent's campaign since he featured singer Christopher Owens in his very first ads for the house. And like the rest of the images, Saskia de Brauw's menswear ads included, these are black and white and mostly feature the brand's suiting — although there's a pretty fantastic hat involved in three of the photos.
