Cannes may have brought the week's lion's share of red-carpet glamour, but elsewhere there were still plenty of gorgeous looks to inspire.

Kate Moss showed off her unfailing chicness — and some supershiny blond locks — at the Marie Curie fund-raiser in London, where she celebrated in an elegant black column gown, with husband Jamie Hince. Across the pond at the American Ballet Theatre's Gala in New York, fellow supermodels Alek Wek and Jessica Stam looked equally striking in monochrome Valentino gowns. Costars Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart also played a game of fashion doppelgänger: at the London premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman, the duo hit a pitch-perfect note in complementary sheer gowns by Christian Dior and Marchesa, respectively.

Stella McCartney Resort 2012
>> In a garden in Manhattan's West Village — a location perfectly suited to the classic vacation concepts of leisure and fun — Stella McCartney presented a playful Resort 2012 collection. Models milled about in a vibrant mix of color and prints: multi-colored stripes, oversized Hawaiian florals, black-and-white herringbone, and shades of orange and lemon. "All this color and print is about exciting and reenergizing people," McCartney explained, “and it’s nice for everyone to see that you can actually enjoy and live in these clothes.”

Club Monaco's Fall 2 Collection
>> '70s rock n' roll, Ossie Clark and old-fashioned Hollywood glam were just some of the inspirations behind Club Monaco's Fall 2 collection. Hitting stores in October, the collection features a moody palette of rich autumnal hues and plenty of tactile, cozy fabrics. Stand-out styles included a one-shouldered dress in navy chiffon, a faux-fur-paneled cardigan, and a burgandy biker jacket. A rustic, tooled-leather purse also topped our can't-wait-for-Fall list.
