"For me the best thing is knowing that someone really has your back," says Jenna Lyons in an interview for the March issue of V Magazine. Also in the issue is the result of Lyons's first public photo shoot with her partner, Courtney Crangi, a black and white portrait of the duo shot by Willy Vanderperre. In it, both women wear white shirts (Lyons's is from J.Crew, naturally, while Crangi's is from Rag & Bone) and both rave about each other.

Erin Fetherston on Her Engagement Ring and Designing Her Own Wedding Dress

After deciding not to show this season in order to prepare for her upcoming wedding, Erin Fetherston told People on Thursday that she and her longtime boyfriend Gabe Saporta have actually been engaged since New Year's Eve.

Saporta popped the question with a Lorraine Schwartz ring that Fetherston helped design. The emerald-cut diamond is set on a platinum band that was "oxidized to give the ring a vintage feeling," Fetherston said. "I love it because it's luminous and romantic with the right amount of edge."

The couple hasn't set a date yet, but Fetherston already knows where she's going to get her wedding gown.

"I will definitely design my own dress," she said, "and my fairy-tale aesthetic will undoubtedly influence the look and feel of the wedding."

Lily Cole and Twitter founder Jack Dorsey are the subjects of the year's first model relationship rumor, but every rumor should be taken with a grain of salt.

On New Year's Eve, Cole and Dorsey were photographed together on a yacht off the coast of St. Barts. Shots of Cole seemingly massaging Dorsey's shoulders led some news outlets to report that the two are an item, but Dorsey tweeted a reminder Wednesday that things aren't always what they appear.

Cole's account has been silent on the matter. Two days after this photo was taken, more pictures from the trip revealed that movie producer Brian Grazer and a music executive were also on the trip. When Michael Kors gives style advice, he might just throw in a little relationship advice, too.

Fashion writer Kate Betts asked the designer how he would counsel girls who are trying to keep up with perennially changing trends, and he said she should "take the same approach she takes to guys."

"There's great fling material, and then there's great husband material!" Kors said. "Apply that to your wardrobe and it means invest in the key pieces you'll want to spend time with season after season, the pieces that will help define your style. Don't invest major money in the trendy pieces that will feel old by this time next year. Like dating that guy just for fun - it's not to say you shouldn't do it, just don't sink a lot into it!"
