>> Up, up, and aweeeeee! This balloon dress (or puffball or bubble or pouf or tulip or egg dress) has so much volume, you might have to tether yourself down to keep from getting whipped up in the wind. And the shape is most definitely reminiscent of that seen on the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter runway -- a shape that has had to grow on me. But it's all funky, and egg-shapey, and me likey.

OMG. All I see when I look at "tulip" anything is 1980's Home Ec project gone terribly, terribly wrong. Even on stick-thin 17 year old models in a Vogue fashion shoot it doesn't quite look right half the time. Turd covered burlap sacks belted at the waist look good on Vogue Waifs. Please make Tulip Skirt and its friends go away.Thank you.
Ah yes, and we're back to the root of all fashion -- the practical and flattering vs. the fun to look at? At least the dress is fun to look at, non?
not flattering , at all
unless you are stick skinny
