Every once in a while, Blake Lively blesses the general public with her presence. The latest appearance occurred during New York Fashion Week, where she sat front row at the Micheal Kors show. For the occasion, Lively wore '70s-inspired nails that you'll want to recreate immediately.

Elle Gerstein, Lively's go-to manicurist, revealed all of the details behind the look via Instagram. Gerstein wanted to create a manicure reminiscent of the brand's quintessential cognac luggage leather handbag and the pumpkin-orange shade Howl You Doin' ($13) by Paris Lash Academy was a perfect fit. "Using gold studs to outline the nail is 'the detail' @blakelively and I inspire to do when collaborating her signature nail looks," Gerstein's caption reads, in reference to the metallic dots around the perimeter of Lively's fingernails. "The studs also are an inspo of the hardware you find on a KORS bag."

Lively has become well-known for sneaking hidden details into her fashion and beauty looks. For the 2022 fall/winter Micheal Kors show, the actor took the traditional french manicure and spun it on its head, opting to do a negative space version drawn right above her nail beds instead of along the outer edge. And for the Met Gala, Lively hid a loose braid under the base of her crown to mimic the Statue of Liberty's headpiece, nailing the "Gilded Glamour" theme.
