>> After last year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show aired, it was reported that no one had ever purchased a Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra. In fact, the company admitted that all of the past bras — including the 2006 Hearts on Fire Diamond Fantasy Bra, worth $7 million — had all been dismantled.
This year's upcoming show, which tapes Nov. 10 and airs Nov. 30, will feature Adriana Lima in a $2 million Fantasy Bra (left) fashioned out of 142 carats of gems, including 60 carats of white diamonds and 82 carats of topazes and sapphires. And while no one may buy that specific bra, the brand has wisened up this year: they've made a $250 consumer version of this year's Fantasy Bra, which Candice Swanepoel wears (right) on the cover of the soon-to-be-sent-out Victoria's Secret Christmas Dreams and Fantasy catalogue. Instead of diamonds, the consumer version has crystals.

Of course no one has bought a Fantasy Bra! Who's going to pay big bucks for a bra, albeit an insanely gorgeous one? But then again, the cheaper one does look cheaper and doesn't have the same effect as the original.

It's nowhere near looking like the original. They've offered rhinestone blinged-up bras at $75 to $100 during the past few Holiday seasons. And from the pic this $250 one doesn't look much fancier than those.
Oh, I think I'll wait for it to go on clearance.
