Those of us who thought that the removal of a sale section on Net-a-Porter meant that all discounts going forth would move over to theOutnet, were apparently wrong. Today Net-a-Porter--sale section on the top nav or no--launched into a major mid-season sale with 40% off three full pages of merchandise. 3.1 Phillip Lim and Matthew Williamson are both well represented in the sale, and the merchandise is going fast. Soon as we clicked into that coveted marching band jacket by Lim, the thing was gone, out-of-stock. As for theOutnet, which was slated to launch in February, a source at Net-a-Porter tells us the launch date is now April.
