Stella McCartney Designed Wedding Dress — Nancy Shevell [Pictures]

>> Less than a week after her Spring 2012 show, and a few days after her second 40th birthday celebration, Stella McCartney dressed the wedding party for her father's wedding to Nancy Shevell over the weekend.

McCartney put Shevell in a “simple and understated, off-white dress to the knee,” according to the designer's spokesman, with covered buttons at the bodice and cuffs, while she dressed her father in a bespoke navy suit. Her children, nieces, and nephews all wore Stella McCartney Kids for the occasion.

The couple married at Marylebone Register Office yesterday and held a reception at their St. John's Wood home for about 30 guests, including Kate Moss, Sam Taylor-Wood, Josephine de la Baume, and Mark Ronson. Stella also helped concoct the three-course vegetarian feast the guests were served.
