>> Last Tuesday evening, Anna Wintour co-hosted Runway to Change, a fundraiser for Barack Obama that involved designers from Alexander Wang to Marc Jacobs contributing Obama-logoed tote bags, scarves, tees and the like to the cause.

It's too soon to tell whether the event was a success — but Andre Leon Talley did proudly tote his Obama 08 Love Bag by Diane von Furstenberg around Fashion Week last week.
