Lanvin's Pre-Fall 2011 Collection Focuses on Daytime Decadence

"It's about real women's needs and desires." And since he had noticed women increasingly wearing evening looks during the day, Elbaz didn't shy away from drama and the dressed up, turning out ruffled black frocks made in scuba fabric and gray knit sweaters paired with long silk skirts. As the designer pointed out: "Why save the best dishes for the guests?"
