Sportswear and Americana are two things not unfamiliar to Michael Kors, but this Spring 09, the wattage was turned way up. Like many designers this season (including Robert Gellar, Shipley & Halmos, and United Bamboo, among others) black and white stripes made an appearance and (a la Marc Jacobs) mixed prints were pitted against the block color solids that came in between.
