For our first show this London Fashion Week we attended the Spijkers en Spijkers Spring 2009 show. We didn't know how to pronounce their name, we will be honest, but that matters less than one would think. As for the important part, the clothing, the origami-like folds that adorned some garments (in particular a gold and black two-piece outfit), abundant ruffles, and nude/orange/black lace pieces were right on target for Spring 2009 (even if they were slightly derivative). It will be no surprise to us if this collection does well in the boutiques. Check out our first video from London Fashion Week below.
