The two have been dating since May, and Walliams confirmed to the Sun: "It's true, we're engaged and blissfully happy. I wasn't planning to make a public announcement because I'm not a royal — yet."

Stone and Walliams have just returned from Brazil, where Lara was working; David surprised her yesterday by turning up at her hotel.  He supposedly called Stone's parents for their blessing before presenting her with a vintage engagement ring he bought in Los Angeles — picture of the ring in the gallery below. The wedding should be one to remember — not least because word is he's already requested Giles Deacon do his wedding dress — his, not Lara's.
