Karl Lagerfeld Wax Sculpture Pictures

A wax museum in Karl Lagerfeld's hometown of Hamburg, Germany, now features a spot-on sculpture of the designer's likeness. The Panoptikum Museum unveiled the wax figure just last week, saying in a statement that it took artist Saskia Ruth a year to create. Ruth is said to have placed special emphasis on Lagerfeld's "typical facial expression, his clothes, and his hairstyle."

The Panoptikum is Germany's oldest wax museum and counts facsimiles of Marilyn Monroe, Pope Benedict XVI, and Princess Diana among its 130-year-old collection. Take a look at the sculpture of Lagerfeld in the gallery.
