>> For last year's Chanel Pre-Fall "Paris-Moscow" collection, Karl Lagerfeld directed a ten minute silent film, with Edita Vilkeviciute starring as a young Coco Chanel. This year's Chanel Pre-Fall collection, which was dubbed "Paris-Shanghai," debuted in the latter city today; Karl directed a new short film for the occasion, with Edita back as young Coco in a more expansive 22-minute set, this time with dialogue. Heidi Mount, Freja Beha Erichsen, and of course, Baptiste Giabiconi, join her in the tableau, which was projected against the Shanghai cityscape as part of the presentation.

Where do you get all this news from my friend, good post, I'll make sure I watch every video. J'aime
EUGH! Freja is sucha bad actress, the dialogue is so childish, especially how coco says 'you will see me in 30 years and love my clothes. the only good actress was the blonde woman and the young coco. Baptiste and freja were annoying and the worst actors ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if it weren't for the beautiful clothes and sets... horrible acting, horrible script, and mildly offensive too
Prime example of how beautiful sets and clothing can be killed by bad acting. Baptiste Giabiconi looks like a joke. The young coco is the only highlight.
i agree with the other anon. This film was a bit offensive, putting some models in blatant yellow face with terrible acting. Is this a parody of asian culture? Not tasteful at all.
Thank you for posting. I think Karl Lagerfeld should stick to what he knows. Abysmal.
this young coco is lithuanian supermodel Edita Vilkeviciute! She was in Karl film "silent film" as young coco too
Amanda Harlech as Wallis was an inspired bit of casting.
