This Just In: Oliver Theyskens Possibly Leaving Nina Ricci
by coutorture 0

Fashion Week Daily reports that Oliver Theyskens might be leaving his position as Artistic Director at Nina Ricci due to disagreements over the creative direction of the brand. Theyskens' fourth collection for Nina Ricci was his most controversial and is the essential point of disagreement between the designer and the company's fashion division. With a weakened economy it is thought that Theyskens should focus more on salable clothing, much like that which we saw the season prior, in his Fall 2008 collection. Update: Mario Grauso, President of Ricci's parent company, refutes the claim and confirms the Fall 2009 season will proceed as planned.
