This season's boot is taking on a militia movement encompassing hard-edged touches via distressed finishes, chunky heels, lug soles, and earthy hues. Styles vary from hard core, like See by Chloe's studded leather and velvet lace-up boots, to a more polished vibe as shown by this Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem floral-print silk ankle boot. Either way will leave you armed and ready for fashion combat.

Love those Chloe boots! Ross has a pair made by Dollhouse that look very similar...

No thanks, I say to this trend. I'm doing leftovers from last winter (some vintage feel), and updating with another fall '10 trend: ladylike.
I'm actually glad for my budgeting sake when I don't like trends, though.
Love the trend. Definitely a hit
I love this trend for a relaxed weekend look. I purchased a studded pair today which I plan to wear with everything from jeans to skirts this fall! Love it!

Want them all! Such a great and fun trend. This is a great selection! Thanks for the post.
I recently bought the Jeffery Cambell boots.. I'm simply in love with them! They are great and also very comfortable.. And.. they look so very sexy with shorts..
This are so beautiful, especially the brown ones. I'm in love with them.
To bad that I'll have to pay for them, my one month salary.
Those are to expensive.
Frankly, I don't like them that much. I think that this summer, colors like yellow, pink or green would be more appropriate. This are too sad.
