BensoniFor Fall 2009, another Parsons-launched duo joins Proenza Schouler and Cushnie et Ochs on the Fashion Week calendar — Bensoni. In December, Sonia Yoon and Benjamin Channing Clyburn scored one of the 2008 Samsung Design Fund prizes for their two-year-old line, bringing them to the table. “There’s no way we’d have been able to plan a presentation without that money,” notes Yoon. But here they are, with 15 French-inspired looks, including a lipstick-print T-shirt dress and a wool trench with black lace overlay.
