See Daria Strokous in Her First Film Role, for Steven Soderbergh's Contagion
>> Daria Strokous made the rounds during this year's Cannes Film Festival, and now she's making her film debut in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming disease-outbreak thriller Contagion, featuring an all-star cast of Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jude Law. The film — out Sept. 9 — features Strokous as Irina Modelskova, a Ukranian supermodel in London who is struck down by a mysterious and deadly ailment; a first image of Daria as Irina, at left. [TFS]
