We've just come from the Cynthia Rowley Spring 2009 show, and body-skimming it was. Backstage Rowley talked about pairing things down to their most sleek, streamlined, sporty manifestations and the collection was just that. Things got interesting when Rowley employed cut-outs, block color, and sporty lace (a la Miu Miu Fall 08), but none of this was over the top because she kept things so close to the body.
