CR Fashion Book Teaser Video

First she gave us images, and now she's giving us film: Carine Roitfeld has released a 40-second teaser video for her new magazine CR Fashion Book, which gives brief behind-the-scenes looks at some of the first issue's shoots. In the short clip, set to an abbreviated version of the Lupe Fiasco song "Superstar," Roitfeld is seen weaving in and out of fashion shows and placating the corps of paparazzi who document her every move. In the background, we hear her asking, "Is it too extreme? This is a big moment, no?" before snippets of a few photo sessions appear. While it's unconfirmed whether the footage comes from the documentary Mademoiselle C — which follows the creation of the first issue of CR Fashion Book — one thing is certain: when Roitfeld asks, "It's a big return, no?" the answer is a resounding yes.

The magazine is scheduled to be on newsstands by Sept. 13; a look at what we can expect from that issue in the video below.
