It's a good thing I wasn't there. I wouldn't have been able to handle it!

This just makes me so mad! This is why I have such a hard time finding practical but stylish shoes. Smiling

The males that does design and dictate these shoes as a trend or as a stylish accessory should be punished. I would love to see them struggle and stumble and ruin their bodies by walking nonethe less than a month on this so callled "shoes". This isn't about fashion anymore. No woman looks pretty or stylish "walking" on this ones.
This is stated by someone who loves high heels and can actually walk on them too. I don't believe I can walk on these sadist shoes!

Practical and stylish rarely exist together but I thought Brian Reyes showed some good humor about the whole thing when he sent the models out barefoot for the final walkout! He is a geat designer and seems like a good guy too.

I do feel for these poor girls, but being a male I have to say, the stilettos absolutely rock (literally from seeing the video and pics).
I love high spiked pumps on a hot girl. Very nice.
The struggling was kinda sexy...Dangerous. Although I certainly would fall flat on my face in them.
More power to the female I guess for at least trying!

How well did Brian Reyes handle it though? I think the best he could. Plus, nothing can spoil the beauty of his clothing!!

Yes I agree, he done well dealing with the mishaps. Sending them out barefoot was the logical solution to prevent tomato faces!
Just a little embarrassing for the girls that lost their heels, but at least no one fell...That's got to be the worst thing for a girl in stilettos.

I think Brian handeled this unfortunate event with quick thinking. What could have been a total disaster was turned into a comic ending.

I think Brian Reyes dealt with this in a very smart manner. He was faced with an obstacle and he couldn't of handled it better!

>> "Another barefoot model on the Brian Reyes catwalk. And another. What's going on here?"  The Moment twittered this morning.  Apparently, the shoes Brian did in collaboration with Manolo Blahnik weren't too comfortable: viewers lost count of the number of models who toppled, and at least three stopped to take their shoes off.  By the final run of the show — and this never happens — all the models had taken off their shoes and were walking barefoot.  So much for those Manolos, but at least they didn't cause any falls like at Herve Leger earlier this week.
