>> Rumors popped up last week that Lady Gaga is set to shoot the March 2011 Vogue cover overseas with Mario Testino later this month, despite the fact that Anna Wintour complained on national television in September that Gaga, who was to perform, held up the Costume Institute Gala. But when asked last night at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund gala if the cover rumors were true, Wintour replied: "We never talk about our future covers, but I’m a great fan of Lady Gaga’s so ... [changes topic] All the finalists are here!” [The Cut]

Oh come on...really? Vogue? Anna Wintour! What has gotten into you?

To be fair, at least Gaga can actually play piano and sing...more importantly she is obviously 'mad' about fashion. I think I might be more interested in what L.G. has to say than in most of the vogue cover models of the last year. If Anna Wintour doesn't have the balls to put anyone but a high-grossing celeb on the cover, at least she chose one who can do more than stare vacantly and look good in a bikini.
