Type casting her directorial abilities? Really? There's an apt term to describe directors like Sofia Coppola, it's called the Auteurism. Her films are similar because that's the type of films that she enjoys and is passionate about making, aesthetically, and thematically. Would you suggest an action/thriller as her next film simply because she hasn't made one yet?
By the way, I think the credit should be "FashinFags", instead of just "Fashin."

one must admit that Sofia certainly covers mateial she's familiar with. It's always somehow a story whose subtext or pretext in this case is fashion. As the daughter of such a gifted film maker who's covered all ends of the spectrum, I'd think that he might suggest she stop type casting her directorial abilities. I for one would like a like a bit of a surprise.
