New York Times Cuts Back on Fashion Spreads

Fri, 04/17/09 — 04:18:57 PM

>> The Wall Street Journal eradicated its fashion bureau in February, and now the New York Times is downsizing at the expense of the Sunday New York Times magazine's fashion editorials.  Beginning with the May 10 issue, the magazine will no longer publish a fashion layout; instead, it will relegate all photography and fashion coverage to T magazines and the weekly Sunday and Thursday Styles sections.

Below, a few pulls from recent spreads, the likes of which we won't be seeing as much anymore.

The pictures look amazing. The one with the hat somehow reminded me of the models that were walking the catwalk in Ungaro’s S/S 09 collection. All were wearing hats. I love that look. http://content.coutorture.com/2141765
