>> Last time we checked in on Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone in their post-engagement bliss, they were hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro, shopping in Ipanema, and planning to hop around Brazil for the better part of the month.  A week and a half or so into that month, however, Lorenzo Martone seems to be back in New York — he was snapped at Nylon's 10th Anniversary party last night, sans Marc.

Is it a temporary detour for a work commitment?  Did they have to come back early?  It seems a little soon to think there's trouble in paradise, since Martone probably wouldn't be hitting the party circuit if things were rocky.  But it does seem strange that he would be back so soon, especially when he has something of his own to celebrate.
