>> ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL — There were rumors about it yesterday and today comes confirmation: Katie Holmes shot the Spring 2009 ad campaign for Miu Miu today with eight unnamed models — which explains the smoky makeup and slicked-back hair the paparazzi caught her in this evening.  No word on who the campaign photographer is, but based on history, I would guess Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott — unless Miu Miu is pulling a Louis Vuitton this season and going with a new look, too.
