Vogue has championed fashion industry initiatives to combat eating disorders among models. But Vogue will never endorse fat; it won't even pretend to.

hah, so true. Great quote. I think it draws attention to how paradoxical fashion can be. It shows why fashion can be addictive...you love it one minute, and then hate what it can stand for the next. Vogue knows that in some sense that is a part of what keeps it's readers coming back for more. But gosh I love that magazine. It doesn't have those weird plastic surgery articles that Elle does, thank goodness.
